Hurling is a sport of Celtic origin and called in Gaelic “iomáint” or “iománaíocht”. In the field there are two teams, with 15 players each, hit the ball (Sliotar) using a stick (Hurley) to get the highest score. You can find out more about this and other sports in our article Play Gaelic Games.
