You may have already heard about Nathan Sawaya and his exhibitions The Art of the Brick: This New York based artist creates sculptures from … LEGO Bricks! From September 26th to January 4th, The Exhibition will take place in London in the Old Truman Brewery.
CNN has declared The Art of the Brick as one of the world’s 10 must-see exhibitions in the world. You will see large-scale sculptures created from LEGO bricks. Many of which are human figures, but also a T-Rex skeleton constructed from over 80,000 LEGO bricks that measures over six meters in length.
The exhibition also includes some of the world’s most famous artworks from Da Vinci, Vermeer and Rembrandt in 2D and 3D, all created from LEGO. In total, more than one million LEGO Bricks from more than 80 pieces of Art.
The Art of the Brick has already attracted over 1.5 million visitors in North America, Australia and Asia. Coming to London and UK for the first time, this exhibition will attract the young and young at heart.
