Three amazing events will take place on Dublin’s streets broad and narrow: the Torchlit Procession, the Countdown Concert and the magical Fireworks Display!
THE TORCHLIT PROCESSION
The procession is a free, family-friendly event. Featuring floats, torch bearers, fire breathers, stilt walkers, marching bands, dancers and other fascinating performances, the procession will slowly make its way through the streets of the capital city before culminating in a magnificent fireworks display at the landmark St Stephen’s Green. A stunning street parade not to be missed!

THE COUNTDOWN CONCERT
The NYE Dublin Festival’s main event is the New Year’s Eve Countdown Concert, which takes place in the heart of the city centre at College Green on December 31st. The concert will feature leading artists in a great celebration of music, culture and heritage. Giant 3D visuals will illuminate Trinity College helping the countdown to 2013 and the official launch of the Gathering! An unforgettable experience for Dubliners and visitors!
This is the festival’s only ticketed event (over 18s only).

THE FIREWORKS DISPLAY
A magnificent show of lights in the sky over St. Stephen’s Green. The event is suitable for all age and will be a special memory for all the kids! And if you get hungry a wide selection of food stalls will be waiting for you!
