Monday 29th of October is the 33rd start of the Dublins’ annual marathon, a race that is going to take place in the magnificent historical center of the city.
More than half of the 14,350 competitors expected are runners from over-seas and many of them are coming back, this year again, to get a taste of the renowned Irish hospitality. It’s not for nothing that this race is also known as the friendly marathon, the welcoming of the Irish combined with the thousands of spectators all along the race make this marathon an unforgettable experience for all asphalt lovers.
Practical information:
This race is mostly on flat ground and is done in 1 lap; it starts and finishes close to the city center. The starting line is on Fitzwilliam Street Upper and the finish line is on Merrion Square North. The link Bellow shows the entire race map of the Dublin Marathon.
